Islamabad, April 18|05 (KMS): First Secretary of
the Embassy of Japan, Masayuki Taga, visited All Parties Hurriyat Conference
(APHC) Office in Islamabad today and held a detailed meeting with the
representatives of APHC.
Convenor, APHC, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, briefed the Japanese diplomat about
the latest situation in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The Japanese ambassador, during the meeting, noted that Kashmir dispute is a
humanitarian issue, which should be resolved according to the wishes of
Kashmiris. He said, Japan stands for resolution of Kashmir issue through
peaceful means between India and Pakistan.
Masayuki Taga welcomed the thaw in India-Pakistan relations and hoped the
two countries could move forward in their efforts to resolution of the
disputes |
