FALL OF PRO-INDIA CAMPS

The current Jehad for the liberation of Kashmir amazingly shook Pro-India parties, leaders and elite in the valley. This segment of vested interest felt abased and abashed and left the valley mousily. They included National Conference, Pradesh Congress (1) and their splinter elements. Dr. Farooq Abduulah, whose Father's grave continues to remain heavily guarded on the bank of Dal lake since 1983, also vanished from the scene. Sheikh Abdullah, his father once remarked sarcastically about Quaidi-Azam that Mr. Jinnah was not the man of people.

Among Pro-India politicians Abdul Ghani Lone luckily parted ways with this kind of embarrassment after about three decades. He also suffered imprisonment under Jagmohan's rule.

We are eager to see the dawn of the day when the messengers of freedom get united against Indian usurpation of the state and clean their ranks of unholy elements, opportunists and cunning persons. That will really be the first day of new age and last day for India in Kashmir.

We do not hate the late comers in the movement of freedom, people or politicians who joined our ranks when they lost all hopes to gain power, and when elections became irrelevant in Kashmir. But, we should not make fun of the history of freedom by seating such people at the top of those sons whose commitment and faith in the ideology of freedom remained unshakable in the dark decades of our history. The late comers should not trespass on the rights of earliest and committed sons of our movement for freedom and right of self-determination. Our supporters in Pakistan, AK and elsewhere in the world should mark it well and recall in mind tragic episodes of Muslim societies, civilizations, and states caused by hypocrites and fifth columnists. Struggle for a just national cause inspired by faith and commitment is entirely different from activities conducted by individuals and politicians for personal greed and power lust.
